instead of sliding the 10 to 20, tremelo pick it all the way. (up and down strokes realy fast while you slide)

's' stands for slide. So '10s20' tells you to perform a glissando starting from fret 10 sliding up to fret 20. 'L' usually stands for a tied note. This is used to extend a note's duration and in traditional scores those are indicated by a little arc.
