Well, I was a beginner when I tabbed this. Does that make it a beginner tab? :) Seriously though, I'm not proud of this arrangement. Don't spend too much time trying to play this. It might not be worth it.

That 1133 chord in the beginning is what has me stuck, I can't seem to get my fingers in any position that allows for it :|

unfortunately the majority of tabs here are either singular melodies or fingerstyle and it's a bit hard to find something in between.

Put emphasis on fretting the chord of each measure before picking it.

Hrm, the only difficulty I would really have with that is that I don't know how to finger pick, I've been using a plastic one. I find that when I finger pick, the tone isn't as sharp. Thankyou, however.

Ah, I inferred you were fingerpicking since this discussion is in a fingerstyle tab.

I tone tends to be duller since it's fingertips versus a plastic pick. Most fingerstyle players either use plastic fingerpicks for each finger, grow their nails, or wait for their fingertips to callous over.

If you intend to focus on standard picking then it'd be best to look to look elsewhere for some basic chord practice. Songs that are chord based are few and far between here, and those that are tend to use uncommon advanced chords.
